Booking, deposits, flash and healing
- Where is Payday Tattooz?
- Payton tattoos in Redding, California, and takes clients from Redding, Shasta County and Northern California. Appointments are booked through her Venue page.
- How do I book a tattoo with Payton?
- Two ways. Request a custom tattoo on Venue with your references, placement and size, or pick a flash design from the gallery and book it directly. Custom requests get a quote within 2 to 3 days. Booking: https://venue.ink/@payday_tattooz
- How much is the deposit?
- A $55 deposit secures your appointment once you have your quote. It is non-refundable and comes off the final cost of the tattoo.
- Can I reschedule?
- Yes, with at least 48 hours' notice, and the deposit moves to the new appointment. No-shows and changes with less than 48 hours' notice forfeit the $55 deposit, and a new deposit is needed to book again.
- How old do I have to be?
- 18 or older, with a valid photo ID at the appointment.
- What is flash, and what does non-repeatable mean?
- Flash is a pre-drawn design from one of Payton's sheets (Spider-Verse, Anime, Objects). Non-repeatable means each design is tattooed once, for one person. There are 76 designs in the gallery right now.
- Can I get more than one tattoo in a session?
- Yes. Put every tattoo in one booking request so enough time is reserved.
- Does Payton do custom designs?
- Yes. Send a custom booking request with reference photos, placement ideas, approximate size and anything else that helps. The more detail, the better the quote.
- What should I use for aftercare?
- Wash with lukewarm water and an unscented gentle soap, pat dry with a clean paper towel, let it air dry, then a very thin layer of aftercare. Payton recommends Hustle Butter; unscented Lubriderm or a small amount of Aquaphor also work. No soaking, no direct sun, no picking, until healed. Full instructions are on the aftercare page.
- Are touch-ups free?
- Yes. Once the tattoo is fully healed, if it fades or you want something altered, reach out and Payton will take care of it.
